Lighthouse first lit

Construction completed and first beacon lit to guide maritime traffic along the rocky headland.

Plan your visit

Open daily 9am–5pm. Last tower climb sold at 4:15pm. Wheelchair-accessible museum ground floor; tower access limited.

Located on Beacon Point, 15 minutes from Coastal City center. Free parking for visitors.

  • Stair-only access to lantern room — approximately 80 steps.
  • Accessible restrooms and audio tours available.
  • Service animals welcome.
